5.5 tons of unlabeled meat seized at sausage factory in Sakarya
Teams from the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry detected 5,500 kilograms of unlabeled meat and meat products during an inspection at a sausage production facility in Hendek. The products were seized and removed from the facility for destruction.
Teams from the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conducted a license inspection at a sausage production facility in Hendek. During the inspection, a total of 5,500 kilograms of unlabeled meat and meat products were found to be kept in violation of regulations. An investigation has been launched. The products were seized by teams from the Provincial and District Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry, loaded onto a truck, and removed from the facility for destruction.
