Economists expect monthly inflation to be 1.04 percent in June
According to AA Finans survey, economists' expectation for monthly CPI in June was 1.04 percent. This projection suggests annual inflation will fall to 32.17 percent.
AA Finans's survey for the June inflation data, which will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Friday, July 3, was finalized with the participation of 17 economists. The average of the economists' monthly inflation expectations for June was 1.04 percent. The economists' inflation expectations for June ranged between 0.81 percent and 1.77 percent.
Based on the average of the economists' June inflation expectations (1.04 percent), annual inflation, which was 32.61 percent in May, is estimated to decline to 32.17 percent in June. Meanwhile, the average of the economists' year-end inflation expectations was 29 percent. The Consumer Price Index increased by 1.71 percent in May.
