Iceland has been added to overseas allowance groups and calculation tables
An amendment to the Decision on Allowances for Civil Servants Serving Abroad on Permanent Assignment was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. Under the amendment, Iceland was added to the country groups used as the basis for overseas allowances and to the tables used to calculate overseas relocation expenses.

Under the decision, Iceland was added to the country groups used as the basis for overseas allowances.
Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, was also added to the list of cities covered by the tables used under the relevant article of the Travel Expenses Law to calculate the distance-based portion of overseas relocation expenses.
