Motorcycle and Car Collide in Alanya, Two Injured
A collision between a motorcycle and a car at an intersection in Alanya during the night resulted in two people being injured. The injured were taken to the hospital, and an investigation has been launched after the accident was captured on security cameras.
In a traffic accident that occurred around 2:00 AM in Alanya district of Antalya, a motorcycle collided with a car, injuring two people.
The accident took place at an intersection on Kumru Street in Mahmutlar Neighborhood. The motorcycle driven by Erhan P. collided with a car driven by Şükrü Ö.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle driver Erhan P. and passenger Doğukan P. were thrown onto the road. It was learned that the motorcycle driver was injured after hitting the trunk of a car, and the motorcycle was dragged for a short distance.
Passenger Doğukan P. initially stood up, walked about 10 meters, then fainted and fell to the ground, waiting for help.
Following reports from bystanders, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. First aid was administered at the site.
Erhan P. and Doğukan P. were taken by ambulance to Alanya Training and Research Hospital for treatment. An investigation was launched in the area after the accident.
Meanwhile, the moment of the accident was recorded second by second by a security camera of a nearby business. The footage shows the collision between the motorcycle and the car and the moments following the accident.
Osman Deniz, a shopkeeper on the street, stated that they watched the footage and requested speed bumps and stop signs on the street to prevent similar accidents.
