Pakistan's Ankara Embassy held a 'Kashmir Exploitation Day' commemoration event on the seventh anniversary of India's revocation of Jammu and Kashmir's special status on August 5, 2019.
Diplomats, politicians, academics and many guests attended the program held at the embassy building in Ankara. During the event, developments in Kashmir were discussed and concerns were raised about the fundamental rights and freedoms of the people in the region.

In their speeches, officials from Pakistan's Ankara Embassy emphasized that the Kashmir issue must be resolved in line with United Nations resolutions and within the framework of international law. It was argued that India's 2019 decision deepened the political and humanitarian problems in the region.

As part of the program, presentations were made on developments in Kashmir, and photographs and visuals of the region were shared with participants. The event ended with messages of solidarity with the Kashmiri people and calls for peace.
