Türkiye set up a Fund Coordination Board under the vice president and ordered the State Supervisory Council to audit recent investment fund transactions, while the capital markets regulator presented a payment roadmap for investors.
Speaking at the AK Party's 182nd Extended Provincial Chairs Meeting on September 29, President Erdoğan announced that a fully authorized board chaired by the Vice President had been set up to coordinate the procedures for the funds slated for liquidation. Noting that the government had followed the file closely from day one, Erdoğan said Türkiye would put this process behind it as soon as possible, that the economy would emerge stronger, and that capital markets would become safer and more stable.
