Türkiye’s capital markets board: cancelled fund orders to be paid from liquidation balance

Türkiye’s Capital Markets Board said orders for liquidated funds that were cancelled on the TEFAS platform on September 17 will be paid from the liquidation balance in proportion to investors’ shares.

Türkiye’s capital markets board: cancelled fund orders to be paid from liquidation balance

Türkiye’s Capital Markets Board (SPK) said only buy and sell orders sent to the TEFAS fund trading platform on or before September 16 were processed normally for the funds put into liquidation. All orders placed on September 17, when the funds were closed to trading, were cancelled, and their owners will be paid from the liquidation balance in proportion to their fund shares. Orders from September 16 or earlier that failed due to a fund default or missing price are also covered by the liquidation.
