The Ukrainian General Staff revealed new findings regarding Russia's fuel and energy infrastructure following the attacks on June 8. The statement reported that fires broke out at three separate facilities.
In the Krasnodar region, two oil tanks and infrastructure used for quality assessment of petroleum products at the Grushovaya transfer oil depot were reported to have burned. According to the same statement, two tanks each with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters caught fire at the Krasnoarmeysk oil pumping station in the Saratov region.
It was confirmed that a 50,000 cubic meter oil tank burned at the Krasniy Yar production and dispatch station on the Volgograd line. The statement indicated that the damage at these facilities became clear following the attacks.
The General Staff had previously announced that the Grushovaya transfer depot near Novorossiysk was targeted on June 8. On the same night, it was shared that two main oil pipeline junctions in the Volgograd region were hit by drone attacks, and a fire broke out at the Krasniy Yar facility.
Thus, actual damage was confirmed at three different energy points in southern Russia following the attacks. The statement emphasized that these facilities are part of the fuel storage and transfer chain.
