The 10th-century Ani Bridge over the Akhurian (Arpaçay) River in Kars, on the Türkiye-Armenia border, is set to be rebuilt. The Silk Road bridge's 31-meter arch collapsed in 1807. The Ani Archaeological Site, which includes the bridge, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016.
