IOM Türkiye is creating a pool of migration and border management experts

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Türkiye’s Migration and Border Management Unit is establishing a pool of national and international experts to work on projects it is currently implementing and will implement. IOM has been working with Turkish authorities in this field since 2014. Areas for which experts are sought: - Border controls: integrated border management, detection of forged documents, risk analysis, airport security. - Readmission policies and procedures. - Border management information systems and personal data protection. - Combating irregular migration, migrant smuggling, and human trafficking. - Regular migration. - Personal skills training. Required qualifications: - A university or relevant vocational academy degree; a master’s or doctoral degree is an advantage. - At least 10 years of experience in migration and border management. - Very good command of English; Turkish is an advantage.
