15-Year-Old Ömer Ateş Dies After Falling from Balcony in Diyarbakır
15-year-old Ömer Ateş, who fell from the balcony of a 5th-floor apartment in Diyarbakır, could not be saved despite medical intervention at the hospital.
A fall incident at a residential complex on Mahabad Boulevard in Fırat Neighborhood, Diyarbakır, resulted in the death of 15-year-old Ömer Ateş. The incident occurred on the night of June 8 in a 13-story apartment building.
According to information received, Ömer Ateş fell from the balcony of the 5th floor of his apartment for reasons yet unknown. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene following the report.
Severely injured, Ateş was taken to the hospital after initial treatment. The young man passed away around noon yesterday while receiving care at the hospital.
Buried after autopsy
After autopsy procedures, Ömer Ateş’s body was buried at Yeniköy Cemetery in the Bağlar district.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
