Istanbul Modern's collection exhibition titled 'Floating Islands' ended as of yesterday. The museum management announced that approximately 2.75 million people visited the exhibition.
The exhibition, which showcased the development and transformation of Turkish art from 1945 to the present through works selected from the museum's own collection, brought together productions by artists from different periods and approaches.

While Istanbul Modern continues preparations for the new international collection exhibition planned to open in September, the free collection selection on the museum's ground floor also continues to welcome visitors.
In the museum's outdoor space, in addition to Bettina Pousttchi's 'Dikey Otoyollar V02' and Anthony Cragg's 'Koşucu' sculptures, works such as Adrian Villar Rojas's 'Tüm Annelerin En Güzeli (I)', Anselm Reyle's 'Yeraltı Dünyasının Üstünde' and 'Toz Çökerken', Koray Ariş's 'Devinim ve Denge Serisi I ve II', Olafur Eliasson's 'Senin Beklenmedik Seyahatin', Selma Gürbüz's 'Kırmızı Gölge', Richard Deacon's 'Ev Modeli', Richard Wentworth's 'Sahte Tavan', Yılmaz Zenger's 'Bence Ayça' and Zhan Wang's 'Jia Shan Shi 121# (Yapay Kaya)' can be seen.
