7 People Injured in Tunnel Accident in Artvin
7 people were injured as a result of the collision of two pickup trucks in the tunnel on the Artvin-Erzurum highway. The injured were taken to the hospital, and it was reported that there was no life-threatening condition. The moment of the accident was captured by the security camera.
On April 27, 7 people were injured as a result of the collision of two pickup trucks in the 4-kilometer tunnel on the Artvin-Erzurum highway. According to the information obtained, the pickup truck driven by Mehmet Ş., traveling from Yusufeli towards Artvin, collided with the pickup truck driven by Ali Fuat Beyaz coming from the opposite direction by violating the lane inside the tunnel. A total of 7 people, including the drivers and those in the vehicles, were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to Artvin State Hospital after the intervention of the medical teams dispatched to the scene. Authorities announced that the injured were not in life-threatening condition. The moment of the accident was recorded by the security camera inside the tunnel. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
