Ayhan Gider Demands Closure of FETÖ Schools in Romania
AK Party Çanakkale MP Ayhan Gider called for an end to FETÖ's educational and cultural structure in Romania. During his meetings with Romanian parliamentary speakers, Gider conveyed that the schools should be closed or transferred to the Turkish Maarif Foundation.
Chair of the Turkey-Romania Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and AK Party Çanakkale MP Ayhan Gider raised the issue of FETÖ's structure in the country during his contacts in Romania.
In his meetings with Romanian Chamber of Deputies Speaker Sorin-Mihai Grindeanu and Senate President Mircea Abrudean, Gider stressed that it is unacceptable for the organization to continue its existence under the guise of educational and cultural activities.
Conveying to his counterparts the expectation that FETÖ-linked schools be closed or that these institutions be taken over by the Romanian state and transferred to the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Gider called on Romania to take concrete steps on this issue.
