A funeral ceremony was held yesterday in his hometown of Aksaray for Transport Specialist Sergeant Abdurrahman Hilal (28), who was martyred at the Research Hospital. Condolences from President Erdoğan: After being taken to his father's house to receive forgiveness, the martyr's body was brought to Aksaray Ulu Mosque for the ceremony. The martyr's family, provincial protocol, and thousands of citizens attended the ceremony.

Following the funeral prayer after the noon prayer, the martyr's funeral was laid to rest at Aksaray Martyrs' Cemetery. His wife, Neslihan Hilal (30), whom he married three years ago, is 7 months pregnant with a boy. The couple had even planned to name their baby Aybars.

On his social media account, martyr Hilal shared photos with his wife and wrote underneath, “No matter how much you hug, you miss them the moment you let go,” which moved those who saw it. President Erdoğan sent a condolence message to the family of martyr Specialist Sergeant Abdurrahman Hilal.
