Bilal Erdoğan: July 15 was the triumph of truth over falsehood
Speaking at a press conference organized by TGTV and the July 15 Association, Bilal Erdoğan said that July 15 was not just the thwarting of a coup attempt, but the victory of the nation's will.
The Turkish Volunteer Organizations Foundation (TGTV) and the July 15 Association held a press conference at the Memory July 15 Museum on the 10th anniversary of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
TGTV Board of Trustees Chairman Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan also attended the program. In his speech, Bilal Erdoğan made assessments regarding the coup attempt on July 15, 2016.
Ten years ago, on the night of July 15, 2016, our noble nation faced one of the darkest betrayals in its history. The traitors belonging to FETÖ, who usurped the state's resources and the nation's trust, carried out a treacherous coup attempt targeting our democracy, national will, and the unity of our nation.
Emphasizing that July 15 was not just the thwarting of a coup attempt, Erdoğan said, "July 15 is the triumph of truth over falsehood, justice over oppression, and independence over subjugation. July 15 is the clear and unequivocal declaration of the nation's will against tutelage centers. July 15 is the proclamation to the whole world that sovereignty in these lands belongs to the nation."
