BIST 100 ends week down 5.16% at 11,116.99 points
The BIST 100 index ended the week at 11,116.99 points, down 5.16% from the previous week’s close. During the week, the index reached a low of 10,707.18 points and a high of 11,806.76 points.

The BIST 100 index reached a low of 10,707.18 points and a high of 11,806.76 points during the week. The index ended the week at 11,116.99 points, 5.16% below the previous week’s close.
At the Grand Bazaar, the gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold fell 4.18% to 6,370 liras. The selling price of the Republic gold coin also declined 3.34% to 41,880 liras.
The selling price of a quarter gold coin was around 10,887 liras at the end of last week and fell 3.37% to 10,520 liras this week.
Weekly changes in foreign exchange and funds
The U.S. dollar ended the week at 49.7060 liras, up 0.36%, while the euro rose 0.03% to 55.7790 liras.
Investment funds lost 1.90% and pension funds lost 2.25% this week. Among investment fund categories, Money Market Funds posted the highest return, at 0.62%.
