Bill on investment funds submitted
The “Bill on Certain Investment Funds Ordered to Be Liquidated,” bearing the signatures of lawmakers from the AK Party, was submitted to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. Under the bill, interim payments could be made from liquidation assets in funds designated by the board.

Under the proposal, investors whose net investment amount is below 1 million liras would receive an interim payment up to that amount, while those who invested 1 million liras or more would be eligible for an interim payment of no more than 1 million liras.
At the fourth Fund Coordination Board meeting chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, technical preparations concerning liquidation processes and interim payments were reviewed. According to a statement by the Directorate of Communications, the meeting also addressed coordination efforts among institutions to return excessive profits.
