Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Hakan Safi met with congress members and fans at a meeting held in a hotel in Bitez Neighborhood. Safi said they set out to end the short-term championship drought. Stating that they want to prepare the club for the year 2050, Safi explained that strengthening the financial structure is their priority. In his statement, Safi expressed that they will build an ambitious squad without harming Fenerbahçe's cash flow and aim to create new revenue sources for the club. He said they are working on the Fenerbahçe GYO project and different investment plans. Safi also touched on the project to increase stadium capacity, emphasizing that it should be realized with realistic steps. He argued that promises that can be completed quickly within the season are not realistic. His long-term plans also include pilot teams in different regions of Turkey and the idea of acquiring a club in Europe. Safi said such steps would contribute to the development of young players and the structuring of the technical staff. Regarding transfer plans, he stated that they want to strengthen the squad with domestic and foreign star players. Safi added that Fenerbahçe's goal is to become champions again.
