Concerns Persist After Drone Crash in Romania
After a drone crashed into an apartment building in Galați, Romania, local residents remain uneasy. Two people were injured in the incident.
Concerns continue in the area following the crash of an unmanned aerial vehicle into an apartment building in Galați, Romania. Residents interviewed by the BBC at the scene said they did not feel safe after the incident.
The report stated that a large hole formed on the roof of the 11-story building, the top-floor apartment was severely damaged, and the woman and her son living in that apartment were hospitalized. The Romanian Ministry of Defense reported that the drone entered the airspace during nighttime attacks on Ukraine, then crashed into the apartment building, causing injuries to two people.
