Visit to Kyrgyz handicrafts exhibition
After touring the grounds of the residence, the leaders’ spouses watched a musical performance by children and young people dressed in traditional Kyrgyz clothing. A group photograph was taken after the performance, which featured local instruments including the komuz, a traditional Kyrgyz instrument.
The program continued with a visit to an ethnographic exhibition featuring examples of Kyrgyz handicrafts. Emine Erdoğan examined the handmade works on display and said they had seen pieces reflecting the aesthetic understanding of Kyrgyz culture.
