Fragmented Drone Secured on Bartın Coastline
A fragmented unmanned aerial vehicle was found on Kapısuyu Beach in Kurucaşile district of Bartın. Initial examinations could not determine the country of origin of the drone, which was secured by the gendarmerie for safety.
A fragmented unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was found on Kapısuyu Beach in the Kurucaşile district of Bartın. According to the report by MA, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area following reports from citizens who spotted the drone parts on the beach. Upon arrival, the gendarmerie crime scene investigation teams and bomb disposal experts conducted an examination of the device.
Initial checks could not identify the country to which the drone belonged. The device was secured by the gendarmerie for safety. It was learned that after an expert team arrives from Karabük to conduct further investigation, the drone will be sent to Ankara for detailed research and technical analysis.
