The drop in Brent crude prices has begun to translate into lower fuel prices. A 6.08-lira cut in the price of gasoline took effect at fuel pumps on Friday, November 6.
Under the new prices, gasoline costs 74.60 lira per liter and diesel 100.60 lira in Istanbul’s European side. On the Asian side, gasoline is sold for 74.40 lira and diesel for 100.40 lira. In Ankara, gasoline costs 75.60 lira and diesel 101.70 lira, while in İzmir, gasoline is priced at 75.80 lira and diesel at 102.00 lira.

Sector sources expect a 5.10-lira cut in diesel prices to take effect on Saturday, November 7. If implemented, the cut would bring the price of diesel to approximately 95.50 lira per liter in Istanbul’s European side.
The price of Brent crude fell below $100 per barrel this week. Pump prices in Türkiye are updated based on changes in international product prices and the exchange rate of the dollar. Prices may vary slightly depending on the distribution company and province.
