Germany's widely-read Bild newspaper has put the Turkish Riviera under the spotlight. The paper's evaluation titled 'Top 10 Hotels of the Turkish Riviera for 2026' once again showcased the holiday appeal of Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
According to Bild's analysis, the Turkish Riviera has surpassed many rival holiday regions in Europe with its high quality and value for money. Antalya's comprehensive all-inclusive concept hotels, quality beaches, robust accommodation infrastructure, family-friendly facilities, and world-class resort hotels were highlighted as the key features that set the region apart from other European destinations.
Belek, Lara, and Side stand out
The evaluation identified Antalya's Belek, Lara, and Side regions as prominent destinations. It was noted that Belek draws attention with its luxury resort hotels and golf tourism opportunities, while Lara offers accessible holiday experiences with its city and airport connections and long coastline.
Side was among the regions that stood out for its family-friendly nature, strong accommodation infrastructure, and rich holiday experience.
Top 10 hotel list
Topping Bild's list was the Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort. The hotel was noted for its location, service standards, golf facilities, and gastronomic experience.
The list also included the following hotels:
- Rixos Premium Belek
- Voyage Sorgun
- Barut Hemera Side
- Mardan Palace
These hotels were featured among the 'Top 10 Hotels of the Turkish Riviera'.
Antalya's brand value strengthens
The German media outlet Bild emphasized that Antalya, moving beyond the perception of just sea, sand, and sun, holds a strong international position in golf, family, luxury, and all-inclusive resort experiences.
The evaluation pointed out that, alongside facility quality, ease of transportation, beach infrastructure, and visitor experience are decisive factors in destination choice. It was stated that Antalya maintains its appeal in the international travel market.
