Aziz Yıldırım, who announced his candidacy for president ahead of the upcoming regular general assembly at Fenerbahçe, met with congress members and fans in Şanlıurfa. Criticizing the club's recent situation, Yıldırım stated that he is willing to take office to put an end to the 12-year ongoing course. Yıldırım said, "I am coming to stop Fenerbahçe's current course. If we can't stop it, no one can."
Yıldırım argued that the polyphony in the stands harms the club's unity and promised to unite the community. Recalling the solidarity during the championships won in his presidency period, Yıldırım drew attention to the negative effects of the stands being divided into 20-25 groups.
Touching on the facilities brought to the club, Yıldırım claimed that no new investments were made in the following period. He announced that if elected, they will make two high-level striker transfers that will directly affect the team. Yıldırım's management list was also announced to the press.
