MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 to be held in Istanbul with 'Türkiye is Key' vision

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026, one of the region's most comprehensive gatherings in the field of machine tools and production technologies, will open its doors at the Istanbul Tüyap Fair and Congress Center from September 28 to October 3, 2026. Organized by the Tüyap Fair Group with the support of the Ministry of Trade and the Machinery Exporters' Association (MİB) and in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business People Association (TİAD), the fair is setting out this year with the motto 'MORE'.

MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 will bring together a wide range of technologies with industry professionals, from CNC systems to robotic solutions, from digital production platforms to sustainable production models, focusing on faster, more efficient, more precise and smarter production. Industry 4.0 and 5.0 applications, digital twin technologies and data-driven production models will be among the fair's prominent agenda topics.

Turkey at the center of the future of production

As global production balances are reshaped, rising cost pressures, disruptions in supply chains and geopolitical uncertainties are changing the direction of industrial investments. While rising energy costs and labor pressures in Europe are directing manufacturers to alternative markets, supply chain risks in Asia are increasing the need for secure production centers. MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 aims to position Turkey not only as a regional production hub but as the new strategic production base of global industry with its 'Türkiye is Key' vision.

TİAD Chairman of the Board Murat Akyüz stated that MAKTEK Eurasia is not just a fair but a strategic platform shaping the future of the sector. Akyüz said, 'It is an important platform that contributes to our companies opening up to new markets, increasing their competitiveness and becoming more visible on a global scale.'

TÜYAP General Manager İlhan Ersözlü emphasized that MAKTEK Eurasia is one of the most important organizations representing Turkey's production power on an international scale, saying, 'MAKTEK Eurasia has become one of the strongest gatherings not only for Turkey but for the Eurasia region in the field of production technologies. MİB Chairman of the Board Osman Fatih İğrek also noted that the fair, one of the most important organizations guiding the development of the machinery manufacturing sector, plays a strategic role in the industry's development. İğrek said, 'MAKTEK Eurasia continues to be one of the most important organizations strengthening the present and shaping the future of the machinery manufacturing sector.'

Interactive experience with MAKTEKVERSE

The fair will go beyond being just an event where products are exhibited and will transform into an interactive experience platform with the MAKTEKVERSE concept. In this context, the Tech-Force Area, where innovative projects and advanced production solutions will be showcased for students, young engineers and entrepreneurs, and the Effect-Force Area, where leading figures of the sector will share their knowledge and experience, will welcome visitors. Within the Effect-Force Area, the 'CNC Machine Tools Talk' moderated by Mechanical Engineer M. Sinan Çalık will be one of the fair's prominent knowledge-sharing events.
