CHP Chairman Özgür Özel received teachers affected by interview injustices and private sector teachers at the Turkish Parliament. The meeting was also attended by CHP Deputy Group Chairman Murat Emir and Suat Özçağdaş, a CHP vice chairman in the party administration.
The teachers raised issues regarding the injustices they experienced during the interview process and the right to a minimum wage for teachers working in the private sector. Their demands were directly conveyed during the meeting.
Suat Özçağdaş shared photos of the meeting on social media, stating that they will continue to amplify the teachers' voices. Özçağdaş emphasized that they stand with the teachers until the interview injustice ends and the minimum wage rights are restored.
It was also announced that Özel will visit the teachers on hunger strike at the Private Sector Teachers' Union at 5:30 PM. This will bring the long-standing demands of the teachers from the parliamentary discussions to the union front as well.
