Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel will meet with the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan and the accompanying delegation at the Grand National Assembly on May 25. The DEM Party delegation is expected to visit the CHP Parliamentary Group at 13:30. This meeting takes place following the "absolute nullity" decision related to CHP’s 38th Ordinary Congress and the tensions experienced at the CHP Headquarters. DEM Party announced that they do not accept the governor's decision allowing police to forcibly enter the CHP Headquarters to evacuate party officials, deputies, and citizens, and called for dialogue. Özgür Özel is expected to deliver important messages regarding parliamentary work during this meeting.
