Marches in support of Palestinians were held in many Turkish provinces on the third anniversary of Oct. 7. Thousands of people answering calls by civil society organizations marched with Palestinian flags.
In Ankara, a march organized by the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANFİDAP) set off from Kocatepe Mosque after the night prayer and ended at Melike Hatun Mosque. Speaking for the platform, Mustafa Karataş said the violence was "not merely three years of massacre" but "a systematic policy of occupation and genocide since 1917," adding that attacks continued despite the Oct. 10, 2025 ceasefire.

In Konya, thousands marched from Kılıçarslan Square to Gedavet Park in a program organized by the Konya Civil Society Organizations Platform, while a Gaza solidarity march and press statement were held at İnönü University in Malatya.
From Diyarbakır to Edirne
The protests were not limited to those cities. Thousands more took to the streets with Palestinian and Turkish flags in Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Ordu, Edirne, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman and Niğde, carrying banners reading "No to genocide," "Global intifada," "Jerusalem is ours and will remain ours" and "Muslims, unite."
In Diyarbakır, a crowd answering a call by Islamic civil society groups marched from the Dünya Junction in Kayapınar district to Roboski Park. "Despite being pushed into total isolation, Gaza has not bowed and remains humanity’s fortress of honor," said Muhammed Kayan, head of the Anatolian Youth Association’s Diyarbakır branch.
In Adıyaman, provincial mufti Mehmet Reşat Şavlı led prayers for those killed in Gaza and Palestine at a march organized by the Adıyaman Palestine Solidarity Platform.
