Pro-Palestinian march in New York on Oct. 7 anniversary

A pro-Palestinian march was held in New York City on the third anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks. Demonstrators gathered at points across Manhattan and marched past Wall Street, City Hall, Washington Square Park and Union Square.

Carrying Palestinian flags, some with faces covered by masks and keffiyehs, they chanted "Free Palestine" and "Long live Palestine." The march ended in the evening at Madison Square Park.

The same evening, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters also converged on an Oct. 7 memorial organized by an Israeli peace group in Union Square, where Mayor Zohran Mamdani was jeered with chants of "traitor."
