Ro Khanna: Israeli army is lying, they detained us
US Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna said he was detained by Israeli soldiers during a visit to the West Bank, calling the Israeli army's statement to the contrary a 'lie'.
US Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna rejected the Israeli army's statement claiming otherwise after being detained by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank. In an interview with NBC News, Khanna spoke about being detained first by Israelis usurping Palestinian land and then by Israeli soldiers during his visit to the West Bank.
'The Israeli army is lying,' Khanna said, stating that Israeli soldiers detained them, adding, 'Security cameras could show that they (Israeli soldiers) were complicit in the detention of US citizens.'
