Somalis carry Turkish and Somali flags at rallies supporting Türkiye
Nasra Bashir Ali, deputy director of communications and public relations at the Somali Prime Minister’s Office, said demonstrations had been held in various locations to show support for Türkiye over its backing for Somalia. Participants carried Turkish and Somali flags, while a large Turkish flag was unfurled.

Ali thanked the Republic of Türkiye for standing with Somalia and for the support it has provided to the country.
Footage from the demonstrations showed participants, including many women, filling the stands and carrying Turkish and Somali flags. The participants also unfurled a large Turkish flag.
