Some Businesses Flooded Around Atatürk Dam Reservoir After Heavy Rainfall

At the Kahta section of the Atatürk Dam Reservoir, the water level reached full capacity following this year's heavy rainfall. The rising water flooded the seating areas and parking lots of some cafes and restaurants along the shore.

In a partially submerged restaurant located in Yeni Mahalle, the garden area was also flooded. Business owner Yılmaz Saray stated that they have been in contact with authorities and were informed that the water level is expected to return to normal within about a week.

Businesses in the area have had to adjust their daily operations according to the flooding caused by the reservoir's high water level. Once the water recedes, normal use of the shoreline areas is anticipated.
