The Syrian delegation is in Vienna to attend the 35th session of the United Nations on crime prevention and criminal justice. The meeting held at the United Nations headquarters started on June 1 and will continue until June 5. The session stands out as one of the main platforms where crime prevention, international cooperation, and legal issues are addressed. The Syrian delegation is chaired by Deputy Minister of Justice Mustafa al-Kasim. The delegation's agenda includes criminal justice and transitional justice topics. It is stated that the Syrian side will present the national initiatives and measures taken in the post-war period of the country at the meeting. The commission brings together member countries to evaluate policies against crime and joint efforts in the field of justice. Experience sharing and cooperation messages among countries are highlighted again at this year's session in Vienna.
