According to international media sources, at least one person lost their life and more than 30 were injured in Russia's nighttime air attacks on Ukraine. According to the Reuters news agency, Ukrainian officials announced that Russia carried out drone and missile attacks on the cities of Odessa and Dnipro. These attacks occurred one day after at least four people lost their lives in Ukraine's drone attacks against Russia. Aleksandr Prokudin, governor of the Kherson region, announced that one person was killed and nine were injured in Russia's attacks. Serhiy Lysak, head of the local military administration in Odessa, stated that Russian drones hit residential buildings, a school, and a kindergarten, injuring an 11-year-old child and a 59-year-old man. In a separate attack in the city of Dnipro, 18 people, including two children, were reported injured. Ivan Fedorov, governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, said that three people were injured in Russia's nighttime attacks. Meanwhile, Russian sources reported that many drones launched from Ukraine were shot down. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing since February 2022, with both sides recently relying more on drone and missile attacks. Despite peace efforts by various countries worldwide, a lasting ceasefire has not yet been achieved between the two sides.
