The body found at sea in Giresun has been identified as that of police officer Osman Sinan
The person found motionless on the shore in Giresun was identified as police officer Osman Sinan, who had been reported missing two days earlier. After examination, the body was taken to the hospital for an autopsy.
Teams were dispatched to the area after a person was found motionless on the shore in Giresun in the evening hours. Following the report, police, fire, medical, and Coast Guard teams arrived at the scene.
While police teams secured the area, divers also searched the sea. The body recovered from the water by the divers was identified as that of police officer Osman Sinan, who had been reported missing in the city two days earlier.
After crime scene investigation teams completed their work, Sinan’s body was taken to Giresun Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy.
