TMO’s grain purchases surpass 5 million tonnes
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) announced that its grain procurement operations, launched on June 3, have surpassed 5 million tonnes. The amount represents national wealth large enough to fill 200,000 trucks.
The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) said on its social media account that its grain procurement operations were continuing intensively across Türkiye.
TMO said the procurement operations launched on June 3 had surpassed 5 million tonnes. “As of today, our purchases exceeding 5 million tonnes represent far more than a statistical figure; they signify enormous national wealth, enough to fill 200,000 trucks to full capacity,” the statement said.
TMO also thanked the producers who trusted the institution and delivered their harvest to TMO, as well as the employees carrying out the work.
