Turkey’s domestic and national electric vehicle brand Togg, eight years after its official establishment on June 25, 2018, has reached 105,000 users.
The consortium, realized with the vision of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for 'Turkey’s Car' and founded in partnership with Anadolu Group Holding, BMC, Turkcell, Zorlu Holding and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), continues its goal of becoming a global technology brand in smart mobility and electric vehicle production.
Togg’s first smart electric vehicle prototypes (a crossover and a sedan) were introduced to the public on December 27, 2019. Construction of the technology campus in Gemlik began on July 18, 2020, and the campus was opened on October 29, 2022, Republic Day, with the participation of President Erdogan. On the same day, Togg’s first smart device, the T10X, rolled off the mass production line.
The first charging stations, Trugo, were installed at the Bolu HighWay shopping and rest facility on October 11, 2022. Prices for the T10X were announced on March 14, 2023. Having received over 177,000 pre-orders, the brand determined its first users via a lottery on March 29, 2023, and began deliveries.
In 2025, Togg became the leader of the electric vehicle market with total sales of 39,020 units across the T10X and T10F models. According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), in the first five months of 2026, the T10X sold 9,070 units and the T10F sold 7,675 units, taking the top two spots in the market; the brand’s total sales reached 16,745 units, and its electric vehicle market share reached 25 percent.
The second model, the T10F, was first introduced at CES 2024. Engineering tests for the fastback model began in August 2024, and it had its first public showing at TEKNOFEST in Adana. The T10F made its world premiere at the IAA Mobility fair in Munich in September 2025 and went on sale in Turkey on September 15, 2025, and in Germany on September 29. The T10X also entered the German market during the same period, marking Togg’s European expansion. Both models achieved five stars in independent Euro NCAP tests. Additionally, the artificial intelligence platform Can.Ai, developed in collaboration with Microsoft Turkey, was introduced at the fair.
On October 7, 2025, the brand began accepting orders for the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive 4More series (T10X 4More Obsidian and T10F 4More) via its digital platform Trumore. In December 2025, pilot authorized dealer points were launched in Antalya, Gaziantep, Bursa, Trabzon and Tekirdag; as of today, service is provided with 22 centers and 76 service points across 81 provinces.
In March 2025, Togg signed a three-year main sponsorship agreement with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and began appearing on the national teams' training jerseys. On February 18, 2026, it signed a similar agreement with the Turkish Basketball Federation, becoming the main sponsor of the national basketball teams.
The Trugo charging network reached over 1,000 stations in 81 provinces in less than three years and serves all electric vehicle brands. According to data first published in July 2025 by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Trugo ranks first in the charging ecosystem with a 27.3 percent market share. The brand uses 100 percent renewable energy in its ultra-fast devices across more than 2,000 stations and over 4,000 sockets.
In March 2026, Togg gradually released a new version of the TruOS operating system developed for the T10X via a remote update. The update aims to increase the speed and efficiency of smart devices and provide a smoother user experience with a renewed interface.
Within the scope of strategic collaborations, Togg signed an agreement with CAIT, a subsidiary of global battery manufacturer CATL, to develop a B-segment platform. Three models built on CAIT’s Bedrock chassis technology are planned to be gradually introduced to users from mid-2027. Additionally, Togg rose nine places to rank 28th in the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s (ISO) 2025 'Top 500 Industrial Enterprises of Turkey' survey.
The domestic electric vehicle brand Togg demonstrates Turkey’s global ambition in technology and mobility with the progress it has made in eight years.
