Trade sales volume rose 1.9% month on month in June, while retail sales climbed 11.8%
The Turkish Statistical Institute released trade sales volume data for June, showing a 1.9% month-on-month increase in total volume. During the same period, retail trade sales volume rose 11.8% year on year, while wholesale trade sales volume fell 9.4%.
The Turkish Statistical Institute released trade sales volume index data for June. Trade sales volume rose 1.9% in June compared with the previous month.
On a monthly basis, sales volume in the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles fell 5.7%, while wholesale trade sales volume rose 4% and retail trade sales volume increased 0.7%.
Trade sales volume fell 4.5% compared with the same month last year. Over the same period, sales volume in the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles decreased 13.8%, while wholesale trade sales volume fell 9.4% and retail trade sales volume rose 11.8%.
