Transit Ship Passages Temporarily Closed in the Istanbul Strait Due to Yacht Race
The Istanbul Strait was closed to transit ship passages due to the yacht race named 'Helly Hansen – Sport Works Bosphorus Race' organized by the Turkish Sailing Federation and Bahçeşehir University. The General Directorate of Coastal Safety announced that the strait was closed at 08:40 in the morning and will reopen at 18:40 in the evening.
