US President Donald Trump made remarks on current affairs during a press conference at the Oval Office.
Trump, referring to his meeting with new UK Prime Minister Burnham, said he hoped the UK would open the North Sea to oil exploration.

Trump said, "He said something very good. He said he would open the North Sea oil resources. If you do that, you become a rich country."
The US President noted that he repeatedly called on former British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to do so, but Starmer did not take that step.
