The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said after a board meeting that Anthony Taylor, the Central Referee Committee's (MHK) elite referee director, has been appointed chairman of the committee.
Alan Snoddy, Igor Radojicic and Barış Şimşek were appointed to vacant seats on the committee. The board also decided to introduce specific provisions in the Football Disciplinary Regulations on penalties for statements made about referees before and after matches.

Joined Turkish football in August
Taylor, a long-serving top-flight referee under England's Football Association, took up the post of elite referee director in August 2026. A FIFA-listed referee since 2013, he officiated at the World Cup, the European Championship and UEFA competitions.
Former MHK chairman Ferhat Gündoğdu resigned on Oct. 3 after being arrested in the so-called "referees file" investigation.
