Türkiye's embassies from Berlin to Kigali hold 103rd Republic anniversary receptions
Türkiye's embassies abroad celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the Republic with citizens, officials from host countries and diplomats. Germany's State Secretary at the Federal Foreign Office attended the reception in Berlin, while Rwanda's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs attended the reception in Kigali.
Türkiye's embassies abroad celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic with receptions held around the world. The events were attended by Turkish citizens, officials from host countries, diplomats, business representatives and citizens of friendly countries.
Germany's State Secretary at the Federal Foreign Office, Ambassador Géza Andreas von Geyr, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of Türkiye in Berlin. Representatives of the Turkish community and civil society organizations in Germany also attended the event.
Celebrations in Paris, Athens and Dublin
The Embassy of Türkiye in Paris celebrated the Republic's anniversary with a reception at the ambassador's residence. Receptions were also held in Athens under the auspices of Ambassador Çağatay Erciyes.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Black Sea Folklore Ensemble added color to the celebrations in Dublin with a performance. The embassy announced that it also commemorated the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Ireland on the same day. The Embassy of Türkiye in Bucharest also attended the Turkish Businesspeople's Association's (TİAD) traditional Republic Gala, bringing together businesspeople, citizens and Romanian friends in Romania.
From Seoul to Jakarta in Asia
The Embassy of Türkiye in Seoul celebrated the Republic's 103rd anniversary with the Turkish community in Korea, as well as Korean and foreign friends. Citizens, representatives of the Turkish business community and Indonesian friends attended the reception in Jakarta, while the Embassy of Türkiye in New Delhi marked the anniversary with a reception at the embassy.
In addition to citizens, Bangladeshi officials and representatives of diplomatic missions attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of Türkiye in Dhaka.
Africa and Latin America
Rwanda's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Usta Kaitesi, attended the reception in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. The embassy in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, which also hosts the African Union, celebrated Republic Day with the participation of its guests.
The Embassy of Türkiye in Buenos Aires also celebrated the anniversary with a reception in Argentina and said it was proud to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Türkiye and Argentina.
