US-Iran Agreement and Eastern Mediterranean Issues to Be Discussed at NSC Meeting
The National Security Council will convene today at 3:30 PM at Beştepe under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The National Security Council will meet today at 3:30 PM at Beştepe, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
At the regular June meeting, the council will discuss the agreement reached to end the war between the US and Iran and the negotiations to be conducted for lasting peace.
The meeting will also evaluate Turkey's potential contributions to these negotiations.
The "Turkey without Terror" Process Will Be on the Agenda
Discussions are expected to address the latest situation on the ground within the scope of the "Turkey without Terror" process, based on intelligence information.
Under the same topic, planned legal regulations related to the process will also be discussed by the council.
Eastern Mediterranean Developments to Be Evaluated
Another key topic of the NSC meeting will be recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The meeting is expected to consider the security and diplomatic aspects of the regional developments.
