AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik reacted to comments by Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar regarding the meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
In a post on the X social media platform, Çelik said of Saar's criticism that it "goes beyond political hypocrisy and constitutes a direct definition of political arrogance."
Targeting the government led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his statement, the AK Party official said, "The genocide network run by Netanyahu represents a mindset that is hostile not only to human rights but to humanity and all of mankind."
Çelik intensified his remarks, stating, "These new Nazis are enemies of humanity; they have no right to speak about human rights."
Çelik stressed that President Erdoğan's name is synonymous with the defense of human rights, assessing, "Those who were deprived of their most basic rights in Türkiye for years, and the oppressed around the world, are witnesses to this."
