It was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been sending messages to ease the tension with the White House in recent days.
In a report by Israeli state television KAN, it was stated that Netanyahu made statements regarding the US-Iran agreement and social media posts by Israeli ministers containing criticism of Donald Trump. Netanyahu was reported to be trying to explain that these outbursts do not reflect his own approach.
The report recalled that Netanyahu had previously emphasized that 'he makes the decisions' in response to statements by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. It was stated that this time the tension had reached a more sensitive point because the criticism directly targeted the US President.
It was also reported that US Vice President JD Vance reacted to the criticism of Trump by some Israeli cabinet members. Vance was reported to have said that Israel should take US support into account.
Vance noted that a significant portion of the weapons used in Israel's defense are provided by the US, and said that those in Israel who think 'Donald Trump is the problem' need to see the current picture.
It was recorded that some Israeli ministers responded to these statements, with far-right Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich reacting to criticism directed at them for their remarks targeting Trump.
