Kürşad Zorlu, deputy chairman of Türkiye’s AK Party and head of its Relations with Turkic States, said in a message marking the October 3 Turkic States Cooperation Day: "We believe that as cooperation in the Turkic world grows stronger, our common threats will weaken, and policies centred on peace, prosperity and tranquillity will set an example for the world."

Zorlu said that under the roof of the Organization of Turkic States, founded with the Nakhchivan Agreement of October 3, 2009, they take rightful pride in having a new say in the world with a population exceeding 200 million.
