Ali Sunal reacts to TFF President Haciosmanoglu's 'You will get used to it' remark
Ali Sunal strongly criticized TFF President Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu's words 'You will get used to it'. Sunal said, 'Let these hate speeches, mafia-like talk not win just once.'
Ali Sunal, an actor and presenter, strongly criticized the remarks of Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, who told critics 'You will get used to it'. Sunal slammed Haciosmanoglu's tone on the program 'Ali Sunal ile Gol Kralı' aired on VOLE.
Sunal described Haciosmanoglu's remarks as 'hate speeches, revenge rhetoric, mafia-like talk and bully behavior'. 'We will not get used to it, sir, we will not get used to it, enough. Let these hate speeches, revenge rhetoric, mafia-like talk and bully behavior not win just once,' Sunal said, adding:
'We have become a country of hate, we all hate each other. As the head of an important institution, why don't you smile, please? Do not threaten, do not wag your finger, let's see what happens.'
Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu had responded to criticism following the Turkish national football team's elimination from the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage. Haciosmanoglu said, 'Yes, I speak, you will get used to it. I am a person whose heart and tongue are one. Those carrying baggage on their back speak cunningly; I have no baggage behind me.'
