Ben-Gvir enters Palestinian prisoner’s cell: “I want to kill you”
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir posted a video from the cell of Palestinian prisoner Hassan Salameh, telling him he wants to kill and execute him, and vowed to push for executions if he becomes defense minister.
Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir posted a video on X showing him confronting Palestinian prisoner Hassan Salameh in his cell, flanked by armed, masked guards. “I want to kill you,” he says, according to the Hebrew subtitles; the English subtitles also render it as “I want to execute you.”
Ben-Gvir said that if he becomes defense minister after the October elections, he would ensure prisoners like Salameh are executed and promote the “voluntary migration” of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. Salameh, held since 1996, is serving multiple life sentences over 1990s bombings.
