A new application has started in Bodrum, Muğla's tourism center, to facilitate sea traffic and entry-exit procedures. Bodrum Port Sea Border Gate now provides uninterrupted service 24 hours a day. Orhan Dinç, Chairman of İMEAK Chamber of Shipping Bodrum Branch, announced that the application has come into effect. Thus, operations at the port can continue throughout the day without being limited to specific hours. The decision was welcomed with satisfaction in the maritime circles of the region. The Bodrum Mariners Association stated that uninterrupted service will provide operational ease in yacht and boat traffic. The association emphasized that the reduction of time losses in entry-exit procedures will also positively reflect on maritime tourism. The new regulation is expected to strengthen Bodrum's international maritime and tourism potential. Industry representatives consider the application an important step, especially in terms of increased boat activity during the summer season. The 24-hour service model aims to enable both domestic and foreign sea vehicles to complete their procedures faster. This step taken at the port, one of the critical points for Bodrum's maritime tourism, is seen among developments that could increase activity in the region. The maritime sector's expectation is that the new regulation will provide a smoother operation throughout the season.
